Bringing Eden to your browser

Back in town, out battling mushrooms, and trying a different class. A little look at Eden Everlasting running in the browser.

It feels good to be back in these places. Stopping for a chat in town, heading out to fight a few mushrooms, and deciding which class to try next. This time, we are doing it all in the browser.

We have been rebuilding the Eden Everlasting client around the original game world. Here are a few moments from our latest tests.

Back where it begins

The familiar streets and faces are there, and we have been working our way through the first quests again. There is something lovely about returning to a place you remember so well.

Just a few more mushrooms

Of course, a trip outside town would not be complete without getting into a fight. Seeing the world, our character, and those familiar monsters moving together has been a rewarding part of the work.

What will you play this time?

We have also been trying out the basics of switching classes. Returning to an old favourite is tempting, but so is giving something different a go.

There is more to bring together, and we will keep sharing a few glimpses as we go. For now: which class did you spend the most time playing?
