Make music in Eden and discover what’s new

Eden has a new sound: yours. Our music system brings playable instruments and melodies into the world, and we have a short performance to share. There is plenty happening beyond the music, too!

Make yourself heard

We have added our own music system to Eden Everlasting, and this one deserves a little time in the spotlight. Your instrument is more than something to carry: you can play notes, try your own melodies, or choose a song and let your character perform it in the world.

Different instruments bring different sounds. Guitars, a lute, a piano, a fiddle, a cello and percussion are among the supported choices. The system also lets nearby musicians join the same song in time with one another, so there is room for more than a solo performance.

Prefer to improvise? The music window includes playable keys and keyboard controls. Prefer to listen? You can hear music from other players, adjust the volume and choose how many performers you hear at once. The video above is a small taste of what that looks and sounds like in the alpha.

Ready for a friendly duel?

PvP has been added! Our latest tests include player duels, with skills, effects and a duel timer bringing a different kind of energy to the world. The screenshot catches two adventurers trading blows by the water. A rather peaceful spot for a less peaceful conversation!

A look inside Sky Tower

Sky Tower has joined the alpha as well. We have been exploring its spaces and testing encounters, including this grand hall with rose-coloured windows, sweeping curtains and shafts of light. There is a very different atmosphere here from the open fields outside.

A place for your treasures

The Treasure Archive is now available in the alpha. Browse its categories, see which pieces you have collected and keep an eye on your archive score. From appearance items to weapons, it gives collectors a clearer view of what they have and what they still want to find.

Set up shop

Player booths have been added, with trading in gold or AP. Put items on your shelves, set up your booth and give other adventurers something to browse. It is another piece of everyday life taking shape alongside the battles and exploration.

Testing the busy moments

Alongside these features, we are continuing performance tests across desktop browsers and mobile devices. Scenes with several characters, effects and interface elements help us check how the client behaves when the world gets busier.

This work is still ongoing. Device support and performance remain part of alpha testing; we are not announcing a universal frame-rate target or full mobile compatibility yet.

Which instrument would you pick for your first performance? And who would you invite to play along? We would love to hear what you want to try next.
